National Trust Bank (“we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Account information

Name, email, phone, date of birth, gender, account type, and the encrypted hash of your transfer PIN.

Transaction data

Records of money you send and receive, including counterparty account numbers and optional notes you provide.

Technical data

Device, browser, IP address, and similar identifiers needed to keep the Service secure.

2. Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. With your consent we may also use analytics cookies to understand product usage. Manage your preferences any time via the cookie banner.

3. How we use your data

  • To open and maintain your account
  • To process transfers and prevent fraud
  • To send service-related emails (e.g. password reset)
  • To comply with applicable laws and regulations

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers (e.g. Supabase, our database host) under strict confidentiality, or when required by law.

5. Your rights

6. Security

Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes. Transfer PINs are bcrypt-hashed in Postgres and never readable in plaintext. All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+).

7. Changes

We may update this Policy occasionally. Significant changes will be announced in advance.
